ALBENDAZOLE I0%


A broad spectrum anthelmintic indicated for the control of developing immature and mature stages of gastrointestinal roundworms, tapeworms, lungworms and adult liver fluke in cattle and sheep. Albendazole 10% is ovicidal against the fluke and roundworm eggs.

ACTIVE INGREDIENT:

Albendazole 100mg Excipients up to 1 ml.
INDICATIONS:

Sheep:

Roundworms: Ostertagia (against inhibited larvae), Haemonchus (Barber pole worm),
Trichostrongylus (Small stomach worm), Nematodirus, Charbetia, Oesophasostomum.
Lungworms: Dictyocaulus filaria.

Tapeworm: Moniezia spp. (head and segments)
Adult liver flukes: Fasciola hepatica

Cattle:

Roundworms: Ostertagia (against inhibited larvae), Haemonchus, Trichostrongylus,
Nematodirus, Charbetia, Oesophasostomum, Bunostomum (Hookworm), inhibited larvae of
Co
operia (Small intestinal worm), Strongyloides spp.

Lungworms: Dictyocaulus filaria.

Tapeworm: Moniezia spp.

Adult liver flukes: Fasciola hepatica

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

Recommended dose rate of 7.5mg-15mg of Albendazole per kg body weight.

Sheep and goats:

Gastrointestinal worms, lungworms, tapeworms: 0.5ml./10kg. b.w.

Cattle/camels:4ml./50kg b.w.

Liver flukes-sheep, goats:

0.75 ml./10kg. b.w. (Large liver fluke)

1ml/10kg .b.w. (small liver fluke)

Liver flukes-Cattle: 5ml./50kg. b.w. (Fasciola hepatica),7.5ml. /50kg. b.w.(Fgigantica, F Magna, Paramphistoma
